TSU CET helps Sitio Paoay, Colllapsible Houses distributed

Indeed, there is no place like home as the Faculty Experts from the Department of Civil Engineering successfully implemented a community outreach and professional assistance extension activity entitled: “Installation of Pedestal and Donation of Collapsible House” on March 11, 2023, at Sitio Paoay, Brgy. Guiteb, Ramos Tarlac.

The Expert Service Providers (ESPs) graciously and willingly facilitated the activity which was led by Engr. Emy Vasquez, project leader, together with Dr. Marie Wendy J. Frany, CET - College Dean, Engr. Susa Nina A. Sapad, CET - Associate Dean, Engr. Ma Jan Nickole Fernandez, Engr. Rizza P. Gamalinda, and Engr. Neil Andrew I. Meneses, CET faculty. Mrs. Angelyn Dancel, the beneficiary, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Expert Service Providers as she and her family finally have their own home and can begin their new and better life.

This extension activity aimed to provide beneficiaries with a collapsible house, allowing them to live more comfortably and worry-free.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities have been applied since the College of Engineering and Technology – Civil Engineering Department provided an adequate, safe, and comfortable house for the Sitio Paoay residents.
