On November 28, 2022, The Tarlac State University – College of Computer Studies (TSU-CCS) held an onsite training and workshop on Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics for Tarlac Police
Provincial Office (TPPO) Personnel at TSU – CCS Audio Visual Room (AVR). The goal of the preceding extension training and workshop includes educating and assisting the beneficiary in
deepening their understanding of cybersecurity and digital forensics.

The said training was led by the college dean, Dr. Alvincent E. Danganan, and Dr. Rogel L.Quilala, the Associate Dean of the college. Service Expert Providers from the college of computer
studies acted as the Resource Speakers on the said training and discussed the topics in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics.

The CCS Dean, Dr. Alvincent E. Danganan, highlighted his expertise in cybersecurity. His talk aims to assist in securing computer systems, networks, and data from hacker attacks or unauthorized
access while maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the beneficiary. While Mr. Carlos P. Flores Jr., an instructor in information technology, shared his expertise in digital forensics. His
discussion's major objective is to teach the beneficiary how to gather information from electronic evidence, transform it into usable intelligence, and report the results to the police. All procedures
make use of reliable forensic methods to guarantee that the information is acceptable in court.

A workshop was organized after the discussion. As a result of the prior training, the beneficiary at the Tarlac Police Provincial Office (TPPO) applied what they had learned in the talk into practice.
The Police Chief, Master Sergeant, Alma D. Rivera, and other PNP Facilitators expressed gratitude for the successful and fruitful training.
