Prior to the activity, the students’ preparations included an in-depth ocular inspection and meetings with local educators to understand the unique needs of the Ayta Abellen tribe's elementary students.
The AB ELS 3-A students, alongside the CASS faculty members, have conceptualized a holistic educational program with learning activities, storytelling sessions, games, and exercises referencing their needs for language and cultural preservation.
"Masaya po ako kasi madami po silang pinamigay sa amin at may kwento pa po," one of the students in Ayta Abellen tribe's elementary school said.
In summation, the outreach program in Sitio Tala stands as a testament to the commitment of the AB ELS 3-A students to the realization of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) particularly citing SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities.
