CCJE conducts a Drug Awareness and Prevention seminar at Baras Baras High School

The seminar on Drug awareness and Prevention for the students of Baras-Baras High School was successfully held by the College of Criminal Justice Education on November 23, 2022.


Service providers included and were led by Mr. Jan Vincent S. Carmen, Ms. Marie Fe Buscayno, Ms. Girlie Bautista, and Ms. Jelly Ann Mercado, who were all CCJE faculty members.


Ms. Marie Fe led the discussion by outlining the legal and illegal uses of drugs. She highlighted how crucial it is to be aware of those things. The discussion then moved to educate the students on the type of drugs, their harmful effects, and prohibited acts under RA 9165


The seminar aims to promote public awareness against the effect of illegal drug use as well as public cooperation on anti-drug campaigns.
