Faculty experts from the College of Arts and Social Sciences went back to Sitio Hot Spring Bueno Capas, Tarlac last August 25, 2022 for the second part of Project KKK.

More than 130 parents and children participated in the said activity. Both activities were done simultaneously so ESPs formed two groups: Group 1 for the basic hygiene/sanitation and community management and Group 2 for the storytelling activity.

To accommodate the number of participants, they were grouped into Morning Group and Afternoon Group. During the discussion, IP beneficiaries received lectures on basic hygiene and sanitation and community management. Meanwhile, children were told and read four different stories in the storytelling activity. This is to foster their imagination, boost their listening skill, instil values, and improve their social skills. Moreover, the benefactors also conducted a clean-drive activity.

Moreover, the group also conducted a clean-up drive around the community. Hygiene kits, vitamins, brooms and dustpans were also distributed to the beneficiaries.

Other teams from the college will come back in the coming months to deliver extension services in the said community.
