Armenia Integrated School (AIS), formerly an elementary school in Barangay Armenia, Tarlac City, has produced several professionals in recent years. AIS implements the K to 12 Enhanced Basic Education program; Kindergarten, Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School, offering the Track Technical-Vocational Livelihood specializing Caregiving with 80 enrollees, and Humanities and Social Sciences under Academic Track, catering to 54 enrollees in total. ESPs wanted to provide an absolute need for their school library because AIS is expanding and catering to hundreds of students.
The TSU-COE Civil Engineering Department, recognizing the crucial role of the school library in students' daily lives as a repository of knowledge, generously donated books to the AIS Library for use by both students and faculty. The event was headed by COE Dean, Dr. Marie Wendy J. Frany, along with Engr. Susa Nina Sapad, Associate Dean, Engr. Leonides Tatu, Engr. Edwin Dela Vega, Engr. Randy Policarpio, and Engr. Emy Vasquez. ESPs. Dr. Jolie M. Intal, AIS Principal, extended her sincere gratitude to TSU–COE for the donation, emphasizing that the students' involvement in this extension project would enhance reading comprehension and learning
This COE outreach activity significantly contributed to the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal No. 4, which emphasizes the provision of inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education to promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
