CET ME delivers professional assistance and technical consultancy in Cabayaoasan, Paniqui

Another successful extension activity was implemented by Tarlac State University (TSU) – College of Engineering and Technology (CET) entitled: “Technical Consultancy on the Preparation of the Exhaust and Ventilation System with Bill of Materials (BOM) of a Food-Safety Compliant Facility Layout for Cabayaosan Farmers Agriculture” which was held on June 1, 2023, at Cabayaosan, Paniqui, Tarlac. This activity aimed to improve the production of the beneficiaries and their processing facilities for their mushroom chicharon.

Another successful extension activity was implemented by Tarlac State University (TSU) – College of Engineering and Technology (CET) entitled: “Technical Consultancy on the Preparation of the Exhaust and Ventilation System with Bill of Materials (BOM) of a Food-Safety Compliant Facility Layout for Cabayaosan Farmers Agriculture” which was held on June 1, 2023, at Cabayaosan, Paniqui, Tarlac. This activity aimed to improve the production of the beneficiaries and their processing facilities for their mushroom chicharon.

During the implementation phase of this project, expert service providers, led by Engr. Angelica Pangilinan, together with Engr. Shaye Manlupig, Engr. Marc Arnaldo, Engr. Adam Rombaoa, Engr. Romel Martinez and Engr. Elmer Tolenada, gathered the production layouts/plans from other engineering departments, including industrial, electronics, electrical, and civil engineering. Afterward, they had a meeting concerning the specifications of the exhaust and ventilation systems, and the preparation of the plans and layouts, together with the bill of materials and specifications.

Engr. Manlupig, the representative and faculty expert from Mechanical Engineering Department, joined the other engineering departments for the presentation of the output of this extension activity held on June 1, 2023, at Cabayaoasan, Paniqui, Tarlac.

This extension activity of CET – Mechanical Engineering Department contributes to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG); SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure since this activity allow the beneficiary to improve their production and processing facilities and SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals by establishing connections between TSU, DAR, and Cabayaoasan Farmer Agriculture Cooperative.
