The Municipality of Victoria, Tarlac, tapped TSU’s Gender and Development Office for assistance in preparing their GAD plan, budget, and annual report yesterday, September 14, 2022.
Dr. Rita E. Pulmano, GAD Director, served as a resource speaker for the seminar-workshop held at Albergo Hotel, Baguio City. This is part of the LGU’s 3-day training on the formulation of their Municipal and Barangay development plans.
It was attended by more than 300 participants comprised of different Barangay officials, Department Heads, Sangguniang Bayan members, and Executive Officials of Victoria, Tarlac, headed by their Mayor, Hon. Rex C. Villa C. Agustin.
This completed extension activity of GAD contributes to Goal 5 (Gender Equality) and Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities) of the Sustainable Development Goals.
