For this reason, a CDW must exercise and embody a safe environment that can be considered an extension of their home.
Moreover, 74 CDWs was part of the lecture which was initiated by Ms. Rikka L. Andres, one of the MSWD Officers from Camiling. As the first grasp with the little ones, according to Dr. Quiambao, CDWs must have their total focus on the children. The art and concepts of learning with them are vital and unpredictable. Wherefore, they must blend with them as if a rainbow to the plain sky for you to meet halfway of both learning and teaching. These little people were the opposite of the adult who gives CDWs, the crucial task of being extra careful and balanced in dealing with them. With such innocent minds and ideas, they can be headstrong, hence fragile at the same time.
In addition, Dr. Quiambao enlightens the group with tips and strategies on how to draw attention to and handle them, especially those children with special needs. These were namely, children always would want an element of surprise and excitement, and a change of scenery quarterly would be a great idea according to her. Thus, focusing on more engaging and active activities shall be in place.
Furthermore, A Day Care Center shall not consider a formal school with chairs and tables, ran by pen and paper. Day Care must be the avenue of milestones and breakthroughs for those little hands. Which a plain Indian sit and a storytelling, singing, and dancing can be the highlights as per Dr. Quiambao. That shall be the start of making sure that all learners have access to a high-quality, inclusive education, and encourage possibilities for lifelong learning which serves as two of the 17 Sustainable development goals that the United Nations which are SDG 04; Quality Education and SDG 10; Reduced Inequalities within the aspects of children who possess specialty in attention and necessities.
