CTED conducts Technical Assistance on Action Research at Laoang Elementary School

“Learning has no limitations, ituloy niyo ang ating nasimulan” these are the own words of Dr. Maria Agnes P. Ladia as the four Friday lecture series to the teachers of Laoang Elementary School have come to its conclusion. The said activity was initiated by Dr. Noel C. Roque, school head of Laoang Ellementary School. The activity aimed at quipping the teachers with 21st century learning tools which is vital since teachers needs to provide quality education for the youth. The primary purpose of the series is to contribute in attaining one of the Sustainable Development Goal, Quality Education.

Ladia as the four Friday lecture series to the teachers of Laoang Elementary School have come to its conclusion. The said activity was initiated by Dr. Noel C. Roque, school head of Laoang Ellementary School. The activity aimed at quipping the teachers with 21st century learning tools which is vital since teachers needs to provide quality education for the youth. The primary purpose of the series is to contribute in attaining one of the Sustainable Development Goal, Quality Education.

The four Friday lecture series was held from November 25 to December 16, 2022. Among the topics that were discussed are: Technical Assistance in crafting Action Research and Training on Information and Communications Technologies. A total of 15 professionals from the said school hve actively participated in the lecture – workshop led by the College of Teacher Education, Graduate Studies experts.

The 4-day lecture were summarized, to wit;

On day one (November 25, 2022) Dr. Ladia spearheaded the day for introduction and launching of the lecture plus workshop through the basics of drafting action research. She directed the series of learning new modalities through crafting an Action Research specifically focused within the dilemma of classrooms. Meanwhile, Dr. Erwin P. Lacanlale also served as the second point of person in learning about methods, data mining, and interpretations of their drafted titles and problems on the first session.

Both Dr. Ladia and Dr. Lacanlale were hands-on on the real time updates with regards to the status of their action research.

On a further note, day 3 and 4 involved with the utilization of ICT related resources for video lesson making and creation of simple materials that can be used in their day-to-day productivity. As part of the ICT Team, Mr. Jayson Y. Punzalan unravelled offline applications which apparently user friendly for other teachers. Hence, Mr. Jeith Parazon and Mr. Mark P. Castillo filled the final day with excitement and creativity with online apps available for their utilization. With a ton of colourful and unimaginable lesson templates, to the game plan templates they gave as a token of appreciation to Laoang Elementary School teachers.

Finally, to wrap up the event, Dr. Roque commenced the awarding of certificate to the thorough and respective faculty experts from the College of Teacher Education of Tarlac State University.
