EXTENSION UPDATE | TECHNICAL CONSULTATION AND SITE ASSESSMENT FOR REHOBOTH CHILDREN'S HOME INC. (RCHI)

In its commitment to providing continuous technical assistance to Rehoboth Children's Home Inc. (RCHI), the Departments of Civil, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering conducted a series of site inspections and data gathering activities on February 19, February 27, and March 12 at RCHI in Sta. Maria, Camiling, Tarlac.

The Civil Engineering team, led by Engr. Charmaine Czeninia Reguindin, together with Engr. Ma. Jan Nickole Estrada, Engr. Karl Angelo Clarete, Engr. Kervin Melchor, Engr. Ryan Layug, and Engr. Orlando Sico, focused on the structural design of the RCHI Main Building's roof.

Meanwhile, the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, spearheaded by Engr. Enalyn Domingo and supported by Engr. Leo Piao, Engr. Mark Benz Pineda, and Engr. Cid Lapuz, will handle the design and installation of a basic hydroponics system for the RCHI garden. The initiative was supported by the College Extension Department Head (CEDH), Engr. Renz Paul Quiambao, who participated in the inspections and planning sessions.

These preliminary activities will serve as the foundation for the final design and technical implementation phase. Through this ongoing collaboration, the College of Engineering continues to extend its expertise to ensure the structural safety and sustainability of RCHI's facilities.
