Dr. Cynthia G. Quiambao, Director of the Center for Community and Local Governance Studies and Policy Development (CCLGSPD) and Department Head, together with Ms. Vien Jamaica D. Samson, attended a Sangguniang Bayan Committee Meeting held on May 5, 2026, at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipal Building, Anao, Tarlac.
The meeting was convened by the Multiple Committee on Rules, Education, and Health to discuss the renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Tarlac State University (TSU) for the Consultancy and Research (CARE) in Localizing Child Protection Policy in the Municipality of Anao—a collaborative initiative aimed at strengthening child protection policies at the local level.
The renewal seeks to sustain and further expand the partnership between TSU and the Local Government Unit of Anao, ensuring the continued implementation of evidence-based child protection measures and the successful delivery of the CARE Project within the municipality.
Present during the meeting were Councilor Arnel S. Oliveros, Councilor Perlita B. Cajulao, Councilor Edgardo S. Felipe, ABC President Hon. Manny T. Lapurga, and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Ms. Maricar C. Butay.
