On March 9, 2026, the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA) continued the implementation of its extension project, “Kulayan ang Bayanihan: A Community Mural Painting Extension Project,” at the Bayanihan Institute. The activity marked the next phase of the community mural initiative, building on the progress of the previous painting sessions.

CAFA faculty members and students once again worked together to advance the mural's completion, contributing their creativity, artistic skills, and time to transform the designated wall into a vibrant representation of community spirit, collaboration, and shared identity. Through teamwork and careful attention to detail, the participants continued applying colors and finishing elements that brought the mural design to life.

The activity reflects CAFA's commitment to community engagement by utilizing art as a meaningful platform for collaboration, creativity, and public service. Beyond enhancing the physical environment of the partner institution, the project also strengthens the partnership between the University and the Bayanihan Institute through shared artistic expression and volunteerism.

The continued implementation of the mural painting project demonstrates the dedication of CAFA faculty and students to creating a lasting visual landmark that celebrates community values while inspiring creativity, unity, and civic pride.
