On March 16, 2026, the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA) successfully concluded its extension project, “Kulayan ang Bayanihan: A Community Mural Painting Extension Project,” through the completion of the mural painting activity at the Bayanihan Institute. The event marked the third and final day of the collaborative initiative, signifying the successful completion of the three-day mural painting project.
CAFA faculty members and students worked together to complete the mural by applying the final colors, details, and finishing touches that brought the artwork to life. Through their collective creativity, dedication, and teamwork, the once plain wall was transformed into a vibrant visual representation of unity, shared identity, and community spirit.
In addition to the culmination of the mural painting project, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was formally signed between CAFA and the Bayanihan Institute. The agreement further strengthened the partnership between the two institutions and reaffirmed their shared commitment to sustaining collaboration through future extension programs and community-based initiatives.
The successful completion of the mural painting activity, together with the formalization of the partnership, reflects CAFA's continued dedication to community engagement, artistic service, and meaningful collaboration. Through initiatives such as “Kulayan ang Bayanihan,” the College remains committed to using art as a powerful medium for creativity, empowerment, and lasting community impact.
