Tarlac State University and Romblon State University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on May 11, 2023, in Boracay Island, Aklan to seal partnerships on research, extension, and instruction. The agreement seeks to develop academic and educational cooperation and promote mutual understanding between the two higher education instutitions. Present in the event are RSU and TSU officials and personnel headed by Dr. Merian P. Catajay-Mani, RSU President, and Dr. Murphy P. Mohammed, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension of TSU. As a kick-off activity under the MOU, also happening today is the first part of the technical consultancy on the development and/or revision of research and extension manuals and programs of RSU with Dr. Mohammed, OUES Director Dr. Lea B. Milan, and OUES Unit Head Engr. Emir Lenard S.F. Sicangco serving as consultants.
