OUES holds capacity building seminar for project implementers on community development initiatives

The first Community Development projects and Capacity Building for Project Implementers, showcases the thirteen (13) reform-oriented and impact-driven TATAK TSU extension initiatives for the community and industry sectors.

During the afternoon session of the said activity, project implementers were trained in the administrative and financial protocols of the university in preparation for the implementation of reform-oriented and community development projects in their chosen community.

Dr. Grace N. Rosete, VP for Administration, spoke about the Administration and Finance Protocols; Mr. Jasper A. Yauder and Mr. John Erwin C. Panlilio discussed the Budget and Accounting Protocols; Ms. Winniefe G. Gutierrez spoke about Payroll and Payment of Personnel Services; Ms. Elena May T. Teofilio explained about the Procurement Process; and Ms. Analyn D. Ibañez discussed about the Supplies and Requisition Management. 

In summary, the event focused on critical project cycle features such as project planning and development, project implementation, and project evaluation. The speakers underlined the significance of adherence to finance regulations, employee payment, the procurement process, and supply management.

Furthermore, a collaborative and interactive afternoon session provided the project head, proponents, and their respective technical staff with valuable insights and practical knowledge, enabling them to carry out their roles and responsibilities in an efficient manner, particularly in terms of the financial aspect of project management.
