Bringing Cultural Communities Closer to the Heart

Nayong Pilipino Foundation and Tarlac Provincial Government launched Nayon sa Diwa Exhibit at the Diwa ng Tarlac Museum. This exhibit featured Nayong Pilipino Foundation’s valued material culture items from different cultural communities of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. A space was also dedicated to Abelling cultural communities who are Tarlac’s very own indigenous tribes. The activity aims to bring culture and heritage closer to the public and connect our material cultural items to different local and cultural communities.

Nayong Pilipino Foundation and Tarlac Provincial Government launched Nayon sa Diwa Exhibit at the Diwa ng Tarlac Museum. This exhibit featured Nayong Pilipino Foundation’s valued material culture items from different cultural communities of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. A space was also dedicated to Abelling cultural communities who are Tarlac’s very own indigenous tribes. The launching of the exhibit was headed by Province of Tarlac Governor Susan Yap, Vice Governor Atty. Carlito C. David with Executive Director of Nayong Pilipino Foundation Mrs. Gertie D. Batocabe, also in attendance are mayors from different municipalities of the province, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members, and other respective individuals. Tarlac State University (TSU) was represented by Engr. Emir Lenard S.F. Sicangco, Unit Head, Extension Services Management Office (ESMO).
