GAD, CBA, CASS organise Gender and Development Webinar

Teachers, parents, and students of Tibag Elementary School - Tarlac City attended the webinar organized by the TSU - Gender and Development (TSU GAD), College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), and College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) last March 22, via Google Meet.

Faculty experts Ms. Janelle Matias Santiago from CBA and Mr. Winifredo L. Luis from CASS served as resource speakers. Ms. Santiago provided the participants knowledge on gender sensitivity orientation while Mr. Luis discussed topics on cyber-bullying and online sexual abuse.

More than 100 participants attended the said webinar and are expected to promote gender sensitivity at home, school, and in the workplace.

The completed extension activity of the GAD, CBA and CASS contributes to goal 5 (Gender Equality) and goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities), which are part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Agenda.
