COE holds a grocery pack-giving at Ungot, Tarlac City

Needless to say, the act of giving is truly in the hearts of the faculty of Engineering as the Tarlac State University - College of Engineering recently conducted an outreach program titled: Grocery Pack Giving for Selected Beneficiaries of Brgy. Ungot, Tarlac City held on August 11, 2023.

Needless to say, the act of giving is truly in the hearts of the faculty of Engineering as the Tarlac State University - College of Engineering recently conducted an outreach program titled: Grocery Pack Giving for Selected Beneficiaries of Brgy. Ungot, Tarlac City held on August 11, 2023.

Faculty Volunteers from the Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Department including Engr. Ann Jeannette Lopez, Engr. Joycelyn Cabuang, Engr. Anna Angeles, Engr. Ma. Victoria Rodriguez, Engr. Shaye Caroline Manlupig and Engr. Angelica Pangilinan graciously and voluntarily facilitated the aforementioned event. Prior to the event, Engr. Marie Wendy Frany, College Dean, gave an inspirational message to the beneficiaries. She also introduced with pride and honor the Faculty Volunteers.

Afterward, Engr. Manlupig and Engr. Domingo, as the master of the ceremony, instructed the beneficiaries to form a line so that the gift-giving activity could run smoothly. A total of one-hundred fifty (150) beneficiaries were given grocery packs. At the end of the activity, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the faculty volunteers.

This extension activity of the COE – Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Department contributes to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG); SDG 2: Zero Hunger, since this activity allows the beneficiary to improve and sustain their nutrition, food security, and health.
