CBA promotes Gender Equality at Tibag Elementary School

The College of Business and Accountancy in collaboration with the Gender and Development Center and College of Education conducted a seminar-workshop for the Teachers, Parents and Supreme Pupil Government of Tibag Elementary School in celebration of National Women’s Month as well as an advocacy in achieving Gender Equality and Development among members of our society.

The College of Business and Accountancy in collaboration with the Gender and Development Center and College of Education conducted a seminar-workshop for the Teachers, Parents and Supreme Pupil Government of Tibag Elementary School in celebration of National Women’s Month as well as an advocacy in achieving Gender Equality and Development among members of our society.
The seminar-workshop which was attended by 84 participants focused on three topics: Gender-Sensitivity Orientation, Magna carta of Women and Anti -Violence against Women and their children. The overall objective of the activity is to promote a society where there is gender-equality. A society in which women and men enjoy the same opportunities, rights and obligations in all spheres of life.
TSU CBA and CTED Faculty/GAD Coordinators, Assoc Prof. Christine Janelle M. Santiago, Assoc Prof. Sheila Jane L. Gonzales and Assist. Prof Jovy P. Tomas served as the resource speakers on the said activity.
