After a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Department of Agrarian Reform – Tarlac Provincial Office is back again on its face-to-face seminars and workshops in providing support intervention services to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBOS) in the province of Tarlac.

The 2-day workshop and training series is entitled “Training the Trainers of ARBO Leaders on Enhanced Capacity Building and Development.” On May 16, 2023, Dr. Katrina Bianca V. Sicat of the Tarlac State University – College of Business and Accountancy, was invited to facilitate the topics on setting an Entrepreneurial mindset and honing Leadership Skills for ARBO beneficiaries.
The event was participated by various Presidents, Officers, and Board of Directors of Agricultural Associations and Cooperatives in the province of Tarlac. The workshop included sharing of personal organizational experiences and evaluating the Leader’s leadership style and characteristics using selected frameworks and models. The participants were able to grasp a bigger picture of the role of Leadership as they were able to learn the difference of Servant Leadership versus Traditional Leadership, which ultimately impacts down to the Community Level. The crucial role of Leadership in the Agricultural Sector was also emphasized as the participants’ ability to innovate and influence the next generation of Filipino farmers depend on them.
