On February 9 and 10, 2023, Tarlac State University's College of Science hosted a capacity-building workshop for Alvindia-Aguso
Central Elementary School teachers. The aforementioned seminar and workshop, titled "In-Service Training (INSET) for the Teachers of
Alvindia-Aguso Central Elementary School," The primary goal of this project is to establish teachers to provide basic knowledge and
skills in action and applied research methods, as well as to conduct and yield a quality research product to be submitted to the Tarlac
City School Division Office's research department.

Ms. Mary Jane C. Dela Cruz, the current School Head Teacher of Alvindia-Aguso Central Elementary School, also affirmed her
appreciation for the Extension Service Provider's presence and commitment. This type of seminar-workshop will benefit his colleagues
develop their potential for producing substantial and high-quality research studies

Furthermore, the extension service is a two-day session. On the first day, the resource speaker shared fundamental knowledge about
research and its methodologies. On the second day, the teachers of Alvindia-Aguso Central Elementary School presented their
proposed research study under the guidance and expertise of the guest speaker. Coaching and mentoring on the establishment and
output of the training session, as well as responding questions and concerns, were observed during the workshops. It will help teachers
become more aware of and increase their knowledge of research, which will also contribute to SDG 4: Quality Education, because the
resource speakers empower teachers to conduct research using academic records or data. As a result, higher officials in the
Department of Education, as well as teachers, will be able to identify any issues that will benefit students and schools in creating and
delivering a quality and conducive education for their students.

Moreover, Dr. Alma Corpuz, a College of Science faculty member, was also a resource speaker, sharing her knowledge and expanding
on action research. She concentrated on the following topics: the basics of Action Research, the benefits or positive outcomes of
conducting it, the process or methods, the purposes or goals, and finally its significance. She also shared some research writing
strategies and emerging trends to help them make their research more reliable and accurate, as she reiterated that the topic they
wanted to study was determined by their interest.

Furthermore, collection of information from your study is an important aspect of research. According to the guest lecturer, the data you
collected must align or parallel in order to justify that the actions are valid, which means that the information represents what the
researchers claim it does. Taking this into account, researchers can proceed to the next method by analyzing and interpreting the data
they collected.

As a result, in order to produce an effective and high-quality research study, researchers must devote some time to grasping and
comprehending the fundamentals that will emerge. Furthermore, the aforementioned seminar-workshop benefited the Alvindia-Aguso
Central Elementary teachers, who gained a wealth of knowledge and fruitful topics from the resource speakers' dedication and expertise.
