Industrial engineering and food safety experts from the Tarlac State University conducted an onsite visit for the actual observation of the peanut processing of the Paroba Livelihood Business and Agriculture Association (PLBA) and to gather data and information needed for their facility layout, last April 28 at Arayat, Pampanga.
Moreover, civil and electrical engineering experts also joined them to conduct an initial assessment for the preparation of structural and electrical plans with bill of materials.
All of these are inputs to achieve the deliverables and objectives of the Village Level Farm-focused Enterprise Development (VLFED) Project of the Department of Agrarian Reform Pampanga.
VLFED is one of the enterprise development programs of DAR Pampanga that promotes the collaboration among relevant partner institutions to provide ARBs organizations with technical and funding requirements, for the construction/renovation of their processing center, production of quality processed products leading to the issuance of Food and Drug Administration – License to Operate (FDA-LTO).
