Tarlac State University's College of Criminal Justice Education hosted a three-day community outreach on August 9, 10, and 16, 2022 at Baras-Baras High School.

This extension activity is intended to strengthen community partnerships and to recognize the community and stakeholders for their compassion, generosity, and support to the schools over the years. The mentioned extension project was divided into two parts: the clean-up drive, which included area cleaning, garden beautification and classroom and chair organization. Meanwhile, the second event was the distribution of school materials to forty learners from Baras-Baras High School.

With the help of the CCJE's faculty, headed by thieir dean Dr. Roel R. Alviar, and eighty-five student members of the College Students Council and League of Young Criminologists have participated in the aforementioned clean-up drive activity.

Mr. Jan Vincent Carmen, Program Extension Chair, and the faculty of CCJE exhibit their solidarity and unwavering support for the recipients. This extension activity, however, would not have been possible without the efforts of Ms. Fatima Felix and Mr. Carl Fulloso, the faculty of the school beneficiary, who organized the visits and implementation of the abovementioned extension activity.

The accomplished extension activity conducted by the CCJE contributes to Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and Goal 4 (Quality Education) of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Agenda. The extension activity conducted a general cleaning within the vicinity and facilities of the school, which aims to beautify and prevent the possible causes of diseases. Furthermore, CCJE provided school supplies to support students and encouraged the school that they are free to request other programs or extension activities that can benefit the growth and development of the teachers and learners.
