On May 14, 2026, the Old SB Hall in Anao, Tarlac hosted a seminar titled "Bata, Boses, at Bayan: Building Empathy, Leadership, and Safe Communities for Children." The activity was facilitated by Dr. Jazmin Joy Dizon, with assistance from students of the College of Education Student Society of Educators (COESSE).
The seminar brought together child representatives from every barangay in Anao, providing a meaningful platform where young leaders from across the municipality gathered for a day of learning, collaboration, and empowerment. The program was organized into four thematic sessions—Bayan, Bata, Boses, and Digital Advocate and Social Media—each designed to build participants' awareness, empathy, leadership, and sense of responsibility in promoting child protection. The morning sessions focused on Bayan and Bata, while the afternoon sessions continued with Boses and Digital Advocate and Social Media.
Throughout the day, participants actively engaged in interactive group discussions, reflective exercises, and team-building games that encouraged meaningful dialogue, critical thinking, and collaboration among the young attendees.
The seminar served as both an educational and empowering experience, inspiring participants to become advocates for children's rights and welfare within their respective barangays and communities. Dr. Jazmin Joy Dizon led the discussions, while COESSE student volunteers assisted in facilitating the activities and ensuring the smooth implementation of the program.
