TSU-CSET and DOST Tarlac Strengthen Solar PV Skills for Sustainable Community Innovation

TSU–Center for Sustainable Energy Technologies (CSET), in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Tarlac, participated in a Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems Training held on April 6, 2026, in San Martin, Bamban, Tarlac.

Participants from various partner institutions took part in hands-on demonstrations and system orientation sessions facilitated by Mr. Richard Sadsad, enhancing their technical knowledge and practical skills in the operation and maintenance of solar PV systems.

The activity was also attended by DOST Assistant Regional Director (ARD) Romeolito G. Tacbian, Dr. Leah Matias, and CSET Department Heads, highlighting the strong collaboration among partner institutions in promoting sustainable and energy-efficient technologies.

This initiative supports the development of innovative renewable energy solutions for emergency food production while strengthening community preparedness and resilience, with Milamu Lamu Inc. serving as one of the project's key beneficiaries.
