On October 1, 2025, Grade 12 students from Don Casimiro G. Tanedo Integrated School in Barangay Baculong, Victoria, Tarlac, showcased their innovative food products in a special presentation event. The activity was led by the Marketing Management Department of the College of Business and Accountancy at Tarlac State University. This event provided students with a valuable opportunity to present their product ideas, packaging designs, pricing strategies, and marketing plans. Experts and consultants from the university offered constructive feedback to help students improve their products and develop stronger business strategies.
During the event, the consultants discussed essential marketing concepts including the Marketing Mix—Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. They also introduced students to important marketing tools and strategies such as market segmentation, targeting, and positioning. These lessons helped students understand how to effectively identify their target customers, position their products in the market, and create promotional plans that would increase product appeal and sales. This comprehensive guidance enabled the students to connect their product development with practical marketing principles.
The students presented a variety of unique products such as the Bitter Melon Bar, Spicy Kangkong Kimchi, Mighty Moringa Cookies, Nutri Kikiam, Tarte Mote, Mashed ‘N Squash, Protein Bites, and Kalaboostah Dumplings. Consultants provided detailed suggestions on improving packaging, branding, pricing, and market focus for each product. Overall, the event was a success in nurturing the creativity and entrepreneurial skills of the students, equipping them with the knowledge needed to become future business leaders. The school and the Marketing Management Department of Tarlac State University expressed their gratitude to everyone involved for their hard work and dedication.
