The Tarlac State University Center for Community and Local Governance Studies and Policy Development (TSU-CCLGSPD) conducted a session on Electronic Records Management for various offices under the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Anao, Tarlac. The seminar, held at Anao's municipal offices, brought together participants from various departments with the goal of equipping government employees and staff with the necessary expertise to organize and secure electronic records in the workplace.
Prof. Gilbert Gonzales, from the College of Computer Studies presented as the sessions resource speaker. Prof. Gonzales offered helpful guidance for managing electronic files, addressing everything from file formats and naming conventions to appropriate data storage, backup procedures, and digital security measures.
He also emphasized how crucial it is to switch from conventional paper-based documentation to digital formats, highlighting how doing so will increase accessibility, data retrieval, and office productivity in general.
