Hon. Rex C. Villa Agustin, the Municipal Mayor of Victoria, welcomed Dr. Cynthia G. Quiambao, Director of the Center for Community and Local Governance Studies and Policy Development (CCLGSPD), and Ms. Vien Jamaica D. Samson, Department Head, during a courtesy visit at the Municipal Hall on June 9, 2025.
The discussion centered on progress made and upcoming activities of Project Sustainable Training Assistance and Revitalized Teaching (START), an effort aimed at improving the skills of Child Development Workers (CDWs) throughout the municipality.
The project received strong support from both the LGU and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, led by Ms. Catherine Gacutan. “We truly appreciate all the support that TSU has given us,” Mayor Rex stated.
