The final seminar-workshop under Project START is being conducted today, October 24, 2025, spearheaded by Prof. Elizabeth P. Balanquit, who is leading the morning session at the Moncada Public Auditorium.
The session, titled “The Buzz of Teaching English,” focuses on effective strategies for teaching English to children, emphasizing both skill development and creativity in language instruction.
Prof. Balanquit mentioned to the CDWs of Moncada and San Manuel that teaching English at an early age enhances global communication skills and opens opportunities for learners. However, she also reminded participants of the importance of preserving their mother tongue, noting that “the more languages one knows, the better person one becomes.”
