On April 07, 2025, a significant milestone was achieved through the successful implementation of AYTABAY: Pagsulong sa Agos ng Malinis na Inumin in Sitio Manabayukan, Capas, Tarlac. This initiative was made possible through meaningful collaboration with the Don Bosco Technical Institute-Tarlac.
Led by the visionary leadership of the overall project head, Dr. Francelle L. Calub, dedicated faculty member Mr. Daniel T. Dizon, and the active participation from US Peace Corps Volunteers.
This activity focused on addressing one of the community's most fundamental needs—access to clean and safe drinking water. A significant part of the event was a live demonstration of water filtration conducted by the Don Bosco Technical Institute.
This educational segment served not only to inform the community about how clean water systems work but also empowered them with the knowledge to maintain and understand such systems in the long term.
Three (3) water filtration units were donated and officially handed over to Dr. Carol Simbulan, School Head of Manabayukan Elementary School (MAES). This donation is expected to greatly benefit the school children and their families, helping to reduce waterborne illnesses and improve overall well-being.
More than that, volunteers and community members shared laughter through parlor games, the distribution of school supplies, old clothes, and toys. Catechism sessions were also held, enriching the spiritual lives of the participants and grounding the activities in faith and shared values.
