The Office of University Extension Services (OUES) of Tarlac State University successfully held its 3rd Regular End-of-Quarter (EOQ) Meeting on December 18, 2025, at the TSU Amphitheater. The meeting was led by Engr. Emir Lenard S. F. Sicangco, OUES Director, and was attended by the College Extension Department Heads (CEDHs) as well as representatives from the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) and various centers.
The activity aimed to review the extension accomplishments for the third quarter, assess the progress of ongoing programs and projects, and discuss plans, targets, and procedures for the coming years to ensure effective and responsive extension services.
One of the main agenda items was the presentation of the 3rd Quarter Performance Report by Ms. Jay Ann L. Pablo, Department Head. She praised the colleges for their strong extension achievements during the quarter and suggested ways to further support colleges and centers in meeting their remaining targets. She also presented initial data on Faculty Earned Credit Hours and Plantilla Staff Involvement, highlighting the combined efforts of extension personnel across the University.
Afterward, Mr. Aljon N. Lusong, Department Head of the Extension Services Management Department, discussed the status of submitted extension program and project proposals. He shared updates on completed submissions, ongoing projects, and those still in progress, giving participants a clear picture of the current state of extension initiatives.
Engr. Sicangco then presented the Extension Targets for 2026 and 2027. He explained how the targets were set for each college and center and how these align with the University’s goals and available resources. He also discussed the proposed Extension Budget for the coming year, detailing how funds will be distributed to support the effective implementation of extension programs.
In addition, Engr. Sicangco introduced new and updated extension procedures and forms that will be used starting next year. He stressed the importance of standard processes, efficiency, and compliance in carrying out extension activities.
The meeting ended with OUES expressing its sincere appreciation to all colleges, offices, and centers for their commitment and hard work in achieving their extension targets, reaffirming the University’s dedication to meaningful and community-focused extension services.
