OUES Concludes 4th Quarter CEDH Meeting, Sets 2025 Extension Goals and New Organizational Structure

The TSU Office of University Extension Services (OUES) concluded its 4th Quarter College Extension Department Head (CEDH) Meeting on January 23, 2025, at the CFTR AVR, TSU Lucinda Campus.
Led by Engr. Emir Lenard Sicangco, OUES Director, the meeting focused on reviewing the university’s achievements for 2024, setting extension targets and funding for 2025, and unveiling a new organizational structure designed to enhance community engagement. Key discussions included earned credit hours, duties and responsibilities, and overall program performance.
The meeting also highlighted the university’s evolving leadership, with several key appointments across departments. Mr. Aljon Lusong will continue to lead the Extension Services Management Department (ESMD), with support from Mr. Emmanuel Adriano and Ms. Reah Jimenez, who are tasked with processing and evaluating extension initiatives. The Technology and Knowledge Management Department (TKMD) will be headed by Ms. Jay Ann Pablo, with Mr. Denzel Jeth Buena serving as technical staff to manage information, education, and communication campaigns. The Planning and Performance Management Department (PPMD), led by Dr. Lea B. Milan, will focus on aligning extension targets and monitoring performance, with assistance from Ms. Trisha Anne Macasaquit and Ms. Eloisa Jane Lindo. Dr. Francelle L. Calub will now lead the External Affairs and Linkages Department (EALD), overseeing external partnerships and collaborations.
The meeting also reaffirmed the university's commitment to volunteerism, with faculty, staff, and students actively involved in community outreach initiatives. The event was attended by 12 OUES personnel, 10 CEDH members, and 10 technical staff from various colleges, ensuring alignment with the university’s mission of excellence in education and community service.
Looking ahead, TSU is committed to strengthening its extension services and community engagement in 2025, with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and effective management.
