OUES and NASA Discuss Mandatory Extension Services for Non- Academic Personnel

The Office of University Extension Services (OUES) of Tarlac State University (TSU) met with key officials of the TSU Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) today at 2:00 PM in the TSU Main Campus AVR. The meeting aimed to discuss the integration of mandatory extension services for non-academic plantilla personnel as an indicator in the SUC Levelling process.
Present at the meeting were TSU NASA President Hon. Cherie Lyn F. Onia, along with officials Mr. Dexter Dela Rosa, Ms. Rosita Ferrer, Ms. Lilia Galang, Mr. Juanito Gamundoy Jr., Ms. Leah Gray, Ms. Mirzi Faye Millado, Ms. Teresa Peñano, and Ms. Wilma Salak. The OUES was represented by Director Engr. Emir Lenard S.F. Sicangco, PPMD Head Prof. Lea B. Milan, and Technical Staff Engr. Eloisa Jane P. Lindo.
The discussions primarily focused on incorporating extension services into the Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR) for non-academic personnel, identifying the types of activities to be conducted, and ensuring proper documentation for these efforts. Other concerns related to the successful implementation of the program were also addressed. This initiative aims to increase the involvement of non-academic personnel in community development projects, further reinforcing TSU’s commitment to social responsibility.
OUES expressed its appreciation for the active participation and valuable insights shared by the non-academic personnel, which will play an essential role in the successful implementation of these extension services.
