To enhance digital literacy and workplace efficiency, the Tarlac Tarlac Union of Cooperatives (TUC), in collaboration with Tarlac State University – College of Computer Studies (TSU-CCS), conducted an extension activity titled "Mastering the Basics: MS Word Lecture and Hands-On Workshop for TUC." held on February 15 and 22, 2025, at the CCS Building, San Isidro Campus, TSU, the training and workshop equipped TUC members with essential MS Word skills.
Led by Ms. Regina Arceo Canlapan as the resource speaker, along with Mr. Wilbert John M. Canlapan and Dr. Alvincent E. Danganan, the training covered document formatting, layout structuring, inserting tables and images, and advanced tools like mail merge.
Members of the Student Society of Information Technology Education (SSITE) actively supported participants by providing guidance and technical assistance, ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience.
Through hands-on activity, participants applied their learning in real time, enhancing their document management skills. This initiative highlights TSU-CCS’s commitment to digital literacy and its dedication to empowering local organizations through technology-driven education.
