As part of its continuing commitment to support the residents of the DSWD Lingap Center for Boys, the Office of University Extension Services (OUES) conducted the second phase of the “Kalap Para sa Lingap: Donation Drive for DSWD Lingap Center Home for the Boys” on November 28, 2025. This activity forms part of the three-month outreach initiative launched on October 29, 2025, under the SARAP Tumulong Program.

During the visit, the OUES team distributed donations consisting of basic clothing, undergarments, sports equipment, and board games. These contributions were intended to address the boys’ daily needs while encouraging recreation, teamwork, and personal development. The team also spent meaningful time interacting with the residents, fostering connections and creating a positive and uplifting experience.

Spearheaded by Engr. Emir Lenard S. F. Sicangco, the initiative continues to receive generous support from donors and volunteers dedicated to improving the well-being of the children. Through regular monthly visits, OUES is able to provide consistent assistance, better understand the needs of the residents, and strengthen the impact of its outreach efforts.

The final phase of “Kalap Para sa Lingap” is scheduled for December, where additional donations will be delivered and the collective efforts of the University community will be celebrated. Through initiatives such as this, TSU, through OUES, remains steadfast in its mission of compassionate service, volunteerism, and meaningful community engagement.
