In celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Month, the IPRadio Program of the Tarlac State University – Center for Peace, Indigenous Peoples’ Resources and Development (CPIPRD) featured an enlightening discussion on the Indigenous Peoples’ Rights Act (IPRA) and its vital role in protecting the rights, identity, and cultural heritage of Indigenous Peoples.
The program began with Dr. Maria Elena David, who provided an insightful overview of the Center and its objectives in promoting peacebuilding, cultural preservation, and Indigenous empowerment. The discussion was further enriched by Atty. Wilmark J. Ramos, who shared his expertise on the legal foundations and implementation of IPRA, and was skillfully hosted by Mr. Howard Aries V.
