As part of the continuing efforts of the project component of culture-based curriculum under Project Aytalakad Ing Lahi, Part II of the Technical Editing, Packaging, and Printing of Bloom Books was successfully conducted on April 3–4, 2025, at the TSU Hotel, Lucinda Campus.

Caingat and Prof. Anna Maria Soccorro Y. Coloma, the activity focused on enhancing leveled and decodable books crafted by the dedicated teachers of Manabayukan Elementary School. Partners from Saint Louis University, Dr. Geraldine Wakat and Dr. Stephenie O. Busbus took the lead in the validation process, carefully reviewing each book to ensure it adhered to appropriate literacy standards. Their expertise helped guarantee that the materials were not only suitable for beginning readers but also reflected cultural authenticity. This process involved evaluating the use of language, cultural references, and the clarity of storytelling to align with the learners’ educational needs.
There is also meaningful participation of Sitio Manabayukan community members, Nanay Ofelia Dalis and Nanay Gloria William provided essential feedback throughout the editing and validation stages. Their involvement was key to ensuring that the books authentically represented the culture, values, and real-life experiences of the Aeta Mag-Antsi people.
Through the collaborative efforts of educators, cultural partners, and literacy experts, the activity not only refined educational materials but also upheld the cultural integrity of the Aeta Mag-Antsi community.
