The Industrial Engineering (IE) Department has launched an initiative to support local agriculture, recently conducting a site visit on October 9, 2025, to Sitio Pao, Mayantoc, Tarlac. The team was headed by 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘇, IE Department Head, included IE Experts, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝘇 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗼, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗴, and 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗮.
The department is providing consultancy and specialized services to firm owners, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝘆𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗻, specifically for the construction of their Rice Coffee and Tea Processing facility. The primary goal is to ensure the facility meets strict Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Standards.
This project underscores the IE Department's dedication to equipping local producers with the technical expertise necessary for regulatory compliance and fostering sustainable, robust growth.
