On September 12, 2025, the Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System (BSAIS) Department conducted an extension activity titled “From Idea to Innovation: A Comprehensive Product Conceptualization Program” at Don Casimiro G. Tañedo Integrated School, Brgy. Baculong, Victoria, Tarlac. This initiative aimed to enhance students’ creativity, entrepreneurial mindset, and their ability to develop and present market-ready products.
As part of the activity, eight student groups showcased their final products to a panel of faculty members. Each group introduced their unique creations, highlighting key features and product potential. The faculty members were given the opportunity to taste and assess the products, after which they provided constructive feedback, comments, and suggestions for further improvement.
The faculty emphasized the importance of innovation, quality, and continuous development in sustaining a product in the market. Dr. Henry commended the students for their hard work and creativity, noting that they already possess the necessary skills in product development. He pointed out that the feedback provided was meant to help refine and elevate their products to a more competitive level. As a sign of appreciation and encouragement, Dr. Henry generously awarded PHP 100 to five students, inspiring everyone to continue improving and innovating.
Overall, the program was a success. It served as a valuable learning experience that allowed students to receive professional insights on their products and understand the importance of product presentation, innovation, and consumer feedback. Through this activity, the students took a significant step in turning their ideas into impactful and marketable innovations.
