Dr. Genevieve Balance Kupang, WURI Historian for 2024–2025, highlights in her article the various innovations of higher education institutions, particularly in the area of Funding for Sustainability, presented during the 5th Hanseatic League of Universities Conference held on July 9- 11, 2025, in Dumaguete City, Philippines. One of the presentations was delivered by Engr. Emir Lenard S. F. Sicangco, OUES Director, who shared about SARAP Tumulong, the University’s flagship outreach program, which ranked 52nd out of 100 universities globally under the Funding category in the 2024 edition of the World University Rankings for Innovation.
