Another successful extension activity was done under the KASUDLONG LONG-TERM PROJECT of the College of Education on March 24, 2025, at Maruglo Elementary School, where the beneficiaries were the Indigenous People (IP) Representatives from Sitio Yangka, Capas, Tarlac. This project aimed to preserve and promote the Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices (IKSP) of the community by creating digitized stories that capture their traditions, beliefs, and everyday practices. These stories provide an in-depth look into the history and culture of the indigenous people of Sitio Yangka.
The activity was led by ๐๐ง. ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ค ๐พ๐๐ง๐ก๐ค๐จ ๐ฟ๐๐ก๐ ๐พ๐ง๐ช๐ฏ, the Project Component Head, along with ๐๐ง. ๐พ๐ง๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐, ๐ฟ๐ง. ๐พ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐. ๐พ๐ค๐ฃ๐ฉ๐, and the volunteer ๐๐จ. ๐ผ๐ก๐๐๐จ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐, who worked closely with the IP representatives. Their consultations and direct involvement ensured that the stories authentically represent the community's culture and knowledge. Through modern technology, these digitized stories will serve as an important tool for documenting and spreading the indigenous traditions, offering knowledge and inspiration for future generations.
