CCLGSPD Charts Strategic Direction through Office Planning.

The Center for Community and Local Governance Studies and Policy Development (CCLGSPD), headed by Dr. Cynthia G. Quiambao, conducted its office planning to expand and strengthen institutional programs and activities. The discussion served as a platform to evaluate and synchronize essential priorities, covering the Learning Development Plan, the Strategic Plan, the Individual Career Development Plan, and the review of the Center’s Manual. The agenda items were discussed to ensure that the Center's operations, personnel growth, and policy initiatives align with institutional objectives and address developing community and governance challenges.
In the afternoon, Atty. Wilmark J. Ramos, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension at Tarlac State University, attended the meeting. Atty. Ramos reiterated the significance of the TSU RISE framework (Research, Innovation, and Sustainable Extension) as an essential pillar for enhancing the University’s research and extension initiatives. He emphasized that TSU RISE functions as both a strategic framework for academic success and a catalyst for promoting innovation, sustainability, and inclusive community involvement.
Present during the planning session were Ms. Vien Jamaica D. Samson and Mr. John H. Lanuzo, department heads, along with CCLGSPD staff members Mr. Mark Christian T. Agustin, Ms. Rochelle Kate T. Tagara, Ms. Chelcy Joyce M. Llorca, and Mr. Jon-Jon R. Duque.
By thorough planning and the application of the TSU RISE framework, the CCLGSPD continues its vision of enhancing knowledge, formulating policies, and providing responsive community service through research-driven initiatives and sustainable extension programs.
