a session of Project START was successfully conducted in the Pura Event Center, spearheaded by the US Peace Corps Volunteers, Mr. Jofiel Pasar, Mr. Vish Juvvadi, Mr. Niko Jeroski, and Mr. Ernie Ararao.
The training aimed to enhance the knowledge and capacity of Child Development Workers (CDWs) of Pura and Ramos, specifically in the areas of child protection policies and children’s rights. They also emphasized the important role CDWs play as frontline advocates in early childhood care.
Ms. Analiza Campo and Ms. Theresita Parayno, MSWD Officers of the Municipalities of Pura and Ramos, respectively, expressed their gratitude to Tarlac State University for its continued support of child development initiatives.
Also present during the session were Engr. Emir Lenard S.F. Sicangco, Director of the Office of University Extension Services; Dr. Cynthia G. Quiambao, Director of the Center for Community and Local Governance Studies and Policy Development (CCLGSPD); and Ms. Vien Jamaica D. Samson, who all provided valuable support throughout the activities.
