On October 10, 2025, the Center for Peace, Indigenous Peoples' Resources and Development conducted an extension program, titled Seminar-Workshop on Local and Global Communication in a Multicultural Setting. Prof. Anna Maria Soccorro Y. Coloma spearheaded this extension activity in Maamot Integrated School, Maamot, San Jose, Tarlac.
This activity aimed to deepen IP students' understanding of the interplay of the local and global concerns in today's interconnected world. Prof. Coloma delivered an insightful lecture highlighting the importance of contextual awareness, critical thinking, and active engagement in addressing societal challenges that transcend borders.
