The Blaze, the official student publication of the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) held a 5 day seminar workshop together with their adviser, Dr. Hazel T. Mabborang and co-adviser, Mr. Jomari S. Miranda, to hone and foster the passion of journalism to junior high school students at Asian Power School of English (APSE) at Maligaya Street, Tarlac City.
After days of orienting the students about News Writing, Feature Writing, Literary Writing, Editorial Writing, Opinion Writing, Sports Writing, Sci-Tech Writing, Photojournalism, and Cartooning, speakers from The Blaze encouraged the students to select their preferred categories and were later grouped accordingly. Each speaker then facilitated hands-on journalistic activities for aspiring young journalists which allowed them to practice and enhance their craft.
