With the primary objective to provide insights and real-time feedback guiding the extension service providers (ESPs), the Office of University Extension Services through the University Extension Review and Evaluation Committee (UEREC) has evaluated 15 Programs and Projects through 𝘼𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙜, the 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙄𝙣-𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙤𝙣𝙜-𝙏𝙚𝙧𝙢 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙨.

The UEREC is composed of the regular members: Dr. Rita E. Pulmano, the director of Office of Gender and Development; Dr. Robert V. Marcos, director for the Office of University Research and Development, and Engr. Emir Lenard S.F. Sicangco, director of the Office of University Extension Services.

Furthermore, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Agnes M. Macaraeg and the Vice President for Research Development and Extension, Dr. Murphy P. Mohammed, served as the UEREC Vice Chair and Committee Chair, respectively.

During the In-House Review, the program and project proponents from the various participating colleges presented their extension proposals and were thoroughly evaluated by the UEREC in terms of their objectives, outcomes, and budget appropriation among others.

To ascertain the feasibility of the programs and projects, the Director of the Office of Finance Mr. John Erwin C. Panlilio and the Head of Accounting Office, Mr. Ryan R. Ronquillo checked the line-item budget of the proposals making sure that each becomes an avenue for the generation of external funding.

Meanwhile, some of the extension proposals presented during the in-house review were encouraged to conduct research activities first, a reiteration to the University's goals to craft research-based extension programs and projects.

The presented long-term extension proposals during the in-house review, upon evaluation and approval, will be implemented for 2025.
