The Tarlac State University-Office of University Extension Services (TSU-OUES) and the Davao de Oro State College (DDOSC) have identified key activities and plans as part of their ongoing efforts to forge a partnership for community extension.
Central to the partnership and project, the DDOSC preliminarily surveyed Sitio Paoay, one of TSU's partner beneficiary, in order to identify what possible contributions may be provided by their institution.
Engr. Emir Lenard S.F. Sicangco, the OUES director, together with the Center for Community and Local Governance Studies and Policy Development Director Dr. Cynthia G. Quiambao and Ms. Vien Jamaica D. Samson, CCLGSPD department head, has set up a meeting with the DDOSC delegation to draft the provisions of the Memorandum of Agreement and the corresponding activities for the Sitio Paoay Extension Project.
Apart from the said undertakings, the DDOSC delegation comprised of Dir. April Rose Abella alongside Mr. Jerson M. Renegado and Ms. Karen Gay D. Balmores also took the opportunity to benchmark TSU-OUES' systems and procedures.
The benchmarking activity highlighted the OUES' PMERS, a systematized information management system that contains TSU's extension data accessible within the reach of the TSU Faculty Members.
