The hybrid event gathered teaching and non-teaching staff for a collaborative discussion both in person and online via Microsoft Teams.

The highlight of the event was the presentation by Engr. Emir Lenard S.F. Sicangco, director of OUES, who served as the resource speaker.

Engr. Sicangco introduced the proposed new extension program structure designed to streamline and harmonize the university's extension initiatives. His presentation provided insights into how each college could develop its banner extension program based on a common framework, fostering alignment with institutional goals.

To inspire creativity and relevance, Engr. Sicangco shared sample programs tailored to trends observed in the extension activities of various colleges and centers. His examples underscored the potential for colleges to amplify their impact by building on existing strengths and community needs.

The event also featured a dynamic question-and-answer segment, during which participants voiced their concerns and sought clarifications on the proposed program structure. Both teaching and non-teaching staff actively engaged, demonstrating their commitment to enhancing the university's extension services.
