CCS conducts ICT training at San Pablo Elementary School

On December 2, 2022, the Tarlac State University – College of Computer Studies (TSU-CCS) conducted an ICT training in Microsoft Excel and Photoshop with Graphic Design at San Pablo Elementary School. The said training aims to help the teaching and non-teaching personnel of the school provide quality education for more than 500 learners enrolled this School Year 2022-2023.

On December 2, 2022, the Tarlac State University – College of Computer Studies (TSU-CCS) conducted an ICT training in Microsoft Excel and Photoshop with Graphic Design at San Pablo Elementary School. The said training aims to help the teaching and non-teaching personnel of the school provide quality education for more than 500 learners enrolled this School Year 2022-2023. 

 

Service Expert Providers from CCS acted as the Resource Speakers of the training and discussed the topics in Microsoft excel. Ms. Karizza D. Felix, an Information System (IS) instructor discussed basic formatting on Microsoft Excel. On the other hand, Ms. Ronalyn T. Domingo, an Information Technology (IT) instructor shared her knowledge about the formulas and functions of Microsoft Excel. 

 

Moreover, Mr. Kwinno L. Pineda, an IT instructor, imparted his knowledge about using Photoshop with Graphic Design. His discussion's objective is to give an overview of how to edit and create images using Adobe Photoshop Software. He also taught the faculty members of the school how to make certificates using Adobe Photoshop Software. 

 

After the talk, a workshop was held. The teaching and non-teaching personnel from San Pablo Elementary School performed what they learned in the discussion. The principal and faculty members of the school were all thankful for the successful training and knowledgeable discussions. It was indeed a worthwhile experience for all that is in the service means being there at all costs. 

 

Mr. Rizalino A. Manglicmot gave his closing remarks and congratulated all who stayed at the training. A certificate was given to the speakers and participants after the training.

 

This completed extension activity of CCS contributes to Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 04 or Quality Education, SDG 08 known as Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Goal 09 or Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure of the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda. Through this kind of activity, teaching and non-teaching personnel of the school are given the quality and relevant education which promotes lifelong learning opportunities for them in delivering their duty of guiding students to do their responsibilities. It helps to promote sustained, full and productive employment and decent work for the beneficiary.
